Lake Worth Beach

Escape to the Florida Sunshine

Welcome to Lake Worth Beach – a vibrant Florida community, an extraordinary place where tranquility meets creativity. This seven-square-mile city is wedged between some of the most action-packed waterways in The Palm Beaches, and its revitalized downtown has its own distinct charms worth discovering. Lake Worth Beach has great beaches, a new fishing pier, historic buildings, and a vibrant downtown with an eclectic mix of antique stores, specialty shops, restaurants, art galleries, venues, and special events.

One event not to be missed is the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival, where the asphalt becomes a canvas in a temporary, open-air museum. On the shores of the Atlantic Ocean lies the historic Lake Worth Casino Building and Beach Complex, perfect for soaking up the sun and taking in scenic views.  The new casino building remains true to the original 1920’s architecture. While there’s no gambling at the new building, the name “Casino” remains as a reminder of the history and importance of the building to the citizens of Lake Worth.

The complex features an oceanfront park and picnic facilities. Beach chairs, lounges and cabanas are available to rent at the beach. Also, there you will find the William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier, a popular fishing spot for locals which also offers oceanside dining atBenny’s on the Beach, knowns for fresh seafood and delicious American breakfasts and pastries.

LAKE WORTH BEACH is a fun beach with everything a holiday beach should have: pier, promenade, restaurants in front of the beach, a restaurant on the pier, ice cream shop, playground with a view. The area has metered parking and guarded swimming. Restroom and shower facilities are available.
Also, check out the Lake Worth Beach Bonfire every 2nd and 4th Fridays from 6 PM to 9 PM. Shopping for souvenirs, make your way over to Lake Worth Beach T-Shirt Company where you can find, swimsuits, hats, sandals, sunglasses, and all kinds of beach accessories.

Golf is a favorite, too at the Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course, one of the most scenic courses in The Palm Beaches, right on the Intracoastal Waterway and Lake Worth Lagoon.

Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course named one of the best in the country, the course is wedged right between the Atlantic and the waterway.
